The quality trademark of the hotel business is a voluntary association of hotel management that chooses to represent itself under a sole trademark. This quality trademark provides the present and prospective hotel guests - with an appropriate sign - an objective evaluation of the service level offered. The objective is a clear formulation of the type of hospitality available to meet the needs and expectations of our Italian and international guests. An instrument, therefore, “to protect the guests”, rather than an element of Quality Guarantee of Hotel Service. This choice (and with this, the concept of ‘guest protection’), represents an opportunity and a challenge for the Italian tourist system.


The Quality trademark is a guaranty for the tourist and offers a series of unquestionable advantages, to those in the business, as well as for the tourist: visibility, image clarity, quality guarantee and facility to choose.

With regard to the hotel category, one evaluates the type of hospitality by the hotel building (the appearance, the surroundings, the rooms, the bathrooms, the restaurants, and the bars) to the services (comforts of the bedrooms and public areas, hygiene and cleaning) to the reception area and price.

This seal supplies the guests an actual and potential, through appropriate sign systems, valuable objectivity on offered services.
